P004 → White show-Central Saints Martins(UAL)

Excerpts from the Chinese myth of Journey to the West evoke the relationship between human beings and their desires, reinterpreting the true meaning of the protagonist, Tang Sanzang, as a monk in his quest for the Buddhist scriptures.  Is it about desire or supreme faith?  I reinterprets Journey to the West to create a new story conjecture Introducing the deeper meaning of Buddhism.  This involves merging Tang Sanzang as an avatar with the desires he bids farewell to on his path to enlightenment.  In Buddhist scriptures, the crane symbolizes the rebirth of Nirvana, with feathers representing the desire to transcend worldly desires, whether driven by yearning or pure faith.  I meticulously crafted 1324 pieces of feathers from white recycled suede, symbolizing myriad desires, with white serving as a representation of the journey towards holiness.

Inspired by Tang Sanzang, Journey to the West has never been a process of seeking Buddhist scriptures from the West. The person who became a Buddha was not him anymore. The real him had died on the way to the West.
